But now 2008, Ashlee isn’t living in the shadow of her old sister, pop singer Jessica Simpson anymore. Ashley has made a name for herself. She has stared on shows and movies like 7th Heaven and Undiscovered. She has also followed in her sister’s footstep bye releasing two albums one in tiled “Autobiography” the other “I Am Me”.

Ashlee continues to further her career with the release her third album tiled “Bittersweet World”. She has already released her first single off the album and it shows a little of what Ashlee has to deal with everyday, which in her case, is fans, personal life, and of course paparazzi. One question asked is why “Bittersweet World” well according to Ashlee it’s a bittersweet world and where just living in it. “There’s the positive and the negative, y’know? It’s at an interesting place; I’m a happy human being.”

By the looks of things Ashlee got a lot to be happy about a new record, a super cute rocker boyfriend, and a loving family what more can a 24 year old girl asks for. Ashlee has grown up a lot in her personality as well as her style of music, but one thing for sure Ashlee will always stay true to her fans.
