Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen came into the craziness that is Hollywood as babies when they shared the role of Michelle Tanner on the TV sitcom Full House. The show was about a single dad, who with the help his brother-in-law and best friend is trying to raise his three daughters. The show lasted for eight years, Mary-Kate and Ashley where nine years old and weren’t going to let the end of Full House slow them down. Shortly after then end of the series girls started in block buster film and had there very on video tape mini movie series.
In 1998 the girls head back to TV, this time in “To of a Kind,” a sitcom about a single dad who has his hands full raising is preteen daughter who are always getting into some kind of trouble. Though sadly unlike “Full House,” “To of a Kind” only last for one season despite it preteen fan base; the girl went on to do more made for tape movies and even started there very own clothing line for kids; that’s still available in stores today. But as you know the girls can’t stay away from TV for long in
2001 the girl started in a another teen sitcom called “So Little Time” about to twin girls trying to deal with friends, love, and having divorces parents. Once again the show didn’t do as well as they hoped and ended after one season.
After the shows sad end the girls went back to working on there company were they sell books, movies series, dolls, and there clothing line all for kids between the ages of 9 to 14. In 2004 the girls took there acting to the big screen in the feature film “New York Minute,” after the film the girls decide it was time for Mary-Kate to be Mary-Kate and Ashley to Ashley and went there separate ways. Ashley went off to collage and Mary-Kate can now be found on TV series such as Weeds and Samantha Who?
