Teen starlet Kristen Stewart (The Messengers) will star as Bella Swan, in the 2008 film Twilight. Twilight, is based off Stephenie Meyer hit book series about vampires, love, and two different worlds becoming one. There are four books in the Twilight series; Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and the fourth Breaking Dawn, which is said to be the last book of the series there have been rumors that Meyers may do more with the characters of Twilight in later years.

And why not the books are loved by many people all over the world raging from boys to girls, men to women, and teens to adults, and have become highly successful. The only question left to ask is why? Well, that’s a question not even Stephenie Meyer herself can answer, “I’m not sure what it is that draws readers to be so excited about the characters. I know I love them, I know they’re extremely important to me, but I don’t know why other people feel the same way.”

Twilight movie star, who just so happens to be a big fan of the books Kristen Stewart gives her thoughts on why she and other fans are drawn to the books; “The cool thing about the story is that it’s a seemingly wonderful fantasy let’s fall in love with vampires and live forever — but it’s so much harder than that. Imagine living forever. Living one life is hard enough.”

Kristen was happy to get to step into the shows of Bella in the film version of the book and hopes to represent her role soon; “People really love these books, hopefully we’ll get to shoot all four.” Says Stewart; “It’s a pretty triumphant love story, it’s going to take a while, and it deserves at least a series of three.” I’m sure fans of the books are hoping for the same thing, but in the meantime they can check out the first Twilight movie in theaters November 21, 2008.
