When I first saw the trailer for the movie Twilight I thought it was going to be just another vampire film, would not live up to the book, be long and boring, and on top of all that the lead character is played by Kristen Stewart, who I am not a big fan of.
But, after seeing the two hours long film I have only one thing to say, it really is the must see film of 2008. I was pleasantly suspired with the movie; Kristen looked very beautiful and played the role of Bella well. Also from what I hear went every close to the book, unlike most book maybe into films. It was not like most vampire based shows and movies; it showed a different look into the world of the blood sucking creatures that has not been seen before.
The only down fall of the movie was that it did not go into the background of the Cullen family (vampire family) as much as the book did. Though you can only put as much that is need in a film without making it too long. Over all I would give Twilight (the movie) a A-, the mines is for the fact I just pointed and though it is an amazing movie, it just was not as great as the book. Lastly I beg you all to go to see the film even if you have not read the books, though you probably will want to after seeing it. Trust me Twilight is a wonderful film and you will not be disappointed after seeing it. I just hope the second film is as good as this one was, or better.
