Being a fan of The Hills; there was no question to whether or not I was going to watch the new MTV reality show, “The City.” The show is based around one of my favorite Hills cast members Whitney Port, and though it would be sad to see her leave behind Lauren and her former life I could tell there was much more interesting things to come. In the first episode of the show Whitney meets her new co-worker Olivia Palermo; let me just say she is no Lauren Conrad. I do not know if it is just me but I have a feeling she does not have Whitney’s best intentions at heart, pulse everyone knows her and thinks she is a spoiled little rich girl. Lastly what was up with that party where she new that Jay (Whitney’s so called boyfriend) did not come but keep on asking Whitney where he was, I guess the thing is she is not living up to Conrad, and she seems to act a little fake.

Moving on the boyfriend thing was so weird, I mean this guy you went on a date with is telling one thing, and cannot tell if he is just bitter that you did not take your relationship farther, and this guy you really like is saying he all yours but how are you to know what he does behind close doors. I cannot believe both guys got into a fight; well almost did over Whitney, I know she doesn’t believe that Jay would cheat on her though she has to think this other guy is going through a lot of trouble just so she wont get hurt it is somewhat sweet when you think of it. Overall I love how where in a new city and some of the new characters are not bad; like Erin seems pretty cool, I cannot wait to see what goes down next I still believe The Hill is more interesting to watch but only time will tell what The City has to offer.
