The Disney Channel original series “Hannah Montana” has been taking over our TVs for the past three years, and is now making the jump to the big screen. The show will have full-length feature film in theaters April 10, 2009, and will star the whole cast, and appearances by some big Hollywood stars; like Miss Taylor Swift, Tyra Banks, and the Rascal Flats.

The series stars teen sensation Miley Cyrus; as she plays Miley Stewart, a seemingly normal teenage girl, who loves to; hangout with her friends, go on dates, and just live life. But this is teen girl is secretly a famous rock star, named Hannah Montana. The only people who know, about her double life are; her dad, brother, and two best friends, Lily and Oliver. Miley/Hannah is trying to live the live of a normal teenage girl, while trying to keep her other side, under warps, which is easier, said then done.

The plot for the movie is simple and family friendly; in an attempt to show her where she came from, Miley/Hannah dad; make her take break from the spotlight, and takes his kids to their hometown in Crowley Corners, Tennessee. Their Miley learns about family, herself, and what matters most in life; she may even come to realize that it might be time to leave the blonde wig behind. Disney is expecting big boxes office numbers for the movie; just like they got for the third installment, of their High School Musical series, “High School Musical: 3″, which hit theaters in October 2008, and racked in big bucks for Disney.

The Hannah Montana Movie will be the second film for a Disney Channel original series to go to theaters; the first was the Lizzie McGuire Movie (the show that got Hilary Duff famous), which was hit in theaters for young kids. However, the Lizzie McGuire Movie, marked the end of the series. And Hannah Montana fans are worried that it will face the same fate, although Cyrus says she loves being Hannah for the time being she does mention that the series cannot last for ever. But do not worry yet; there has not been any official word that the movie will be the end of the knowingly popular show.

The show is, currently on its third season; where you can catch Miley, Lily, Oliver, and the rest of the gang, dealing with dating, school, and balancing two very different worlds.
