Ramadan

This year Ramadan Started August 22 and well end on September 20.
Rama??ma” is the ninth month of the Muslim calendar it varies from year to year, as the Muslim calendar is based on a lunar cycle of 29 or 30 days The exact date is determined by the sighting of the new moon it moves forward about ten days each year.
Ramadhan was the month in which the first verses of the Quran were claimed to have been revealed to the Prophet Muhammad.
Every day during the month of Ramadan, Muslims around the world get up before dawn to eat Sahur the pre-dawn meal, then they perform the Fair prayer, Muslims may eat and drink after the sun has set then the process starts all over again. To mark the end of the fasting month people celebrate Eid ul-Fitr, a big festival where people put on their best clothes, eat a big feast, and give thanks to Allah (God).
