Sparkling Stars Says: “This movie taught life lesson about change, was funny, entertaining, and enjoyable to watch!”
Fashion, is divine, wonderful, and exciting! The best feeling in the world is the rush of joy that over comes,
you when you by a brand new dress, or a pair of Marc Jacobs Shoes; it is like the taste of chocolate, no wait it is better! That is how Rebecca Bloomwood would describe shopping, to her it is not weather or not she needs it, it is how good it looks on her. But her spending lands her in tricky situation that she cannot, lie her way out of; and might just cause her to loss her best friend, new job, and the man of her dreams.
The film Confessions of a Shopaholic takes the characters from Sophie Kinsella book (by the same title), and brings them to life. The movie stars Isla Fisher as the loveable, outspoken, shopaholic herself Rebecca Bloomwood, Isla brings the character to life in such a funny and enjoyable way to watch, it is like reading the book all over again. The film takes many things from the book and puts them together very well; it shows Rebecca transformation from high spender to smart shopper, and points out that this is a real life issue that people live with day by day; it lets us see the struggle to only Rebecca, but people around the world go through each day.
The movie teaches that we all have the power like Rebecca; to take charge of are lives and make change, if we just believe in are selves; in film she had to end up hurting everyone she cared about and be made fool of on national television before she realized she had a problem, but it is never to late to fixes a mistake, or right a wrong; and that is exactly what she did she, and once she got help everything else just fell into place.
