Sparkling Stars have been promoting aspiring stars by doing small interview with them, so that our read can get to know them and get their names out there. So, far we have done interviews with aspiring actors and musicians, but now we our getting to know some other talent, YouTube Make-Up/Fashion Gurus. YouTube is a hugely popular place for people to upload videos of whatever they like and people for all around the world can watch, rate, and comment on these videos; they can even subscribe to people channels, which help you know when your favorite people upload in videos. YouTube is also place for help, and that is what a YouTube Make-Up/Fashion Guru does, we got the chance to interview a popular guru Amanda, but is known on YouTube as LiveLaughLovePink01.

Sparkling Stars: First start off by introducing yourself, and telling our readers a littler bit about who you are.

YouTube Guru Amanda: Well, I’m Amanda. I’m 13. I love to sing, hang out with friends, play guitar, paint, and do makeup!

Sparkling Stars: You are a YouTube Make Guru, right? What is a make-up Guru?

YouTube Guru Amanda: Yes, I am! A makeup guru is someone that is updated with new makeup trends and helps keep you up to date with tutorials, quick tips, and reviews, and much more!

Sparkling Stars: Why did you start your YouTube guru channel?

YouTube Guru Amanda: I started my channel because I have such a passion for makeup and style and I wanted to share it with others. When I went on YT (YouTube) and noticed how large the community was & decided to join!

Sparkling Stars: What is your favorite part about making videos?

YouTube Guru Amanda: My favorite part of making videos is helping other young adults/teens with makeup and making them feel beautiful, even without makeup. I also love being able to experiment & not be worried about what people will think! Makeup is an art and it is really hard to go wrong when doing it!

Sparkling Stars: Do you like to also do fashion videos on your channel?

YouTube Guru Amanda: I plan on starting fashion videos, I haven’t done any yet, but this is still a new channel! Be looking for some in the near future, though!

Sparkling Stars: Is fashion and make-up something you will like to pursue in the future?

YouTube Guru Amanda: Actually, it isn’t something I would want to pursue! I have thought about it, but I am really interested in going into some sort of police type job, or even being a lawyer. I also want to be a worship leader.

Sparkling Stars: What is your favorite thing about make-up?

YouTube Guru Amanda: My favorite thing about makeup is definitely being able to express yourself through it. If there is a day I don’t want to wear accessories, I go bold with my makeup to express myself through it.

Sparkling Stars: Can people request videos for you to do?

YouTube Guru Amanda: Most definitely! I am always open to suggestions of any sort! Fashion or makeup/hair only though! Ha-ha.

Sparkling Stars: If you could be any superhero who would you be and why?

YouTube Guru Amanda: Hmm, I would have to choose either Wonder Woman or Violet (from The Incredibles). I would say Wonder Woman because she has such a cool outfit & she can fly & she is just like, the princess of superheroes. I would say Violet, because she can be invisible. I would love to turn invisible & go by my crush & see if he likes me! Ha-ha. I would also love a force field. It would make me feel so safe..

Birthday: May 24th

Sign: Gemini. I don’t really like horoscopes though! I will read them in a magazine, but they go against my religious beliefs, so I definitely don’t check one daily.

Color: Pink, Yellow, Lime Green, Sky Blue, Navy, Hot Pink. Pretty much all the colors on my bedspread!

Animal: Dogs, Horses, and Sea Otters.

Holiday: Christmas Eve/Christmas. I love Christmas Eve; because my family and I have a little party with just us (my mom, dad, little brother, and I). We put on Christmas carols and dance around, track Santa on Norad, have shrimp and crab and champagne (the kids have sparkling apple cider). We also have a tradition of opening one present then going to bed. I love Christmas Day because I get to celebrate the birthday of Jesus, I am a huge religious person & I just love the fact that we can read the story of Jesus being born. I also love how close my family is around Christmas! I love getting up early during the winter, too! And I can’t lie I love the presents!

Charity: I love Compassion. It is a program where you “adopt” a child in a 3rd world country and sponsor them monthly so they can go to school, be seen by a doctor, and eat healthy.

Star Atyle: I love Taylor Swift, Shailene Woodley, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Momsen, Blake Lively, Victoria Justice, and Leighton Meester. I get a lot of inspiration from celebs.

Make-Up Brand: I would have to honestly say MAC; they have amazing pigmentation and can never go wrong. Except for mascaras, they aren’t too swift with those! So, I go for Maybelline or Cover girl mascara.

Product: Hmm, I love eyeliner, lip-gloss, mascara, and a good foundation. Those are pretty much what I wear everyday, so I can’t live without them.

Favorite Make-Up Look: I love to do any type of look! I like doing natural, bright, dramatic, pin-up, ect. But, on a daily basis, I definitely go with natural or soft makeup. If I even wear eye shadow at all!

Favorite Movie: Wow, I have a lot! I love The Strangers; I saw that with my best friend. He is amazing at picking out movies. I love anything with Shia LaBeouf; Transformers, Disturbia, and Eagle Eye. Also, I like Confessions of a Shopaholic and She’s the Man. I love a good thriller/horror movie or a good comedy!

Singer/Band: Hmm, for singer I would definitely have to say Taylor Swift & Demi Lovato, also Miley Cyrus. For a band, I love Selena Gomez and the Scene, OAR, Augustana, and the Jonas Brothers! I’m a huge music person!

Magazine: Seventeen. You can never go wrong with them!

Guru & YouTuber: As for gurus I have a few favorites that I cannot choose between I love yeahhitssliz, she is my YouTube sister. I love AllThatGlitters21, Juicystar07, sarahbelle93, makeupblogger, casieette, jpmetz, blairxx, makeupbyallison, and fafinettex3.
As for YouTuber, I also have a few, I love iJustine, SoundlyAwake, WasteTimeChasingCars, SuperMac18, BoodasFortune, and SelenaGomez.
