Anime/Cartoon: Soul Eater
Season: Part 2
Genre: Comedy | Horror

Soul Eater: Part 1 was a bit cheerful with a few dark scene every now and again; and the first couple of episode off “Soul Eater: Part 2” were just the same, however the show suddenly takes a turn into the dark supernatural world once Medusa’s secret plan goes into effect and everyone ends up living their worst nightmares. 1Although, the first part was pretty lighthearted and full of laugh, part 2 shows us a darker side and instead of focus on meister missions to collect evil souls, it is about Medusa’s invasion of the DMWA.

Nevertheless, this isn’t to say the anime has become dark and boring, there are some happier episodes in “Soul Eater: Part 2,” that will make you laugh and see that not everything is about darkness and evil. The only thing would have changed was to have longer fighting scenes they seemed a bit short and rushed.

But, overall this part was just as good as the first; with the new evil they are facing, the darker feel, and even Maka and Soul having some new problems of their own to deal with, if you like “Bleach” this is anime you’ll love just as much.
