There are many “Free Willy” movies and this one has to be one of the best so far. Bindi Irwin stars as Kirra a young girl who befriends a stranded baby orca. The film shows the bond of friendship weather it is with another person or an animal in need. However, if you are looking to see Jason James Richter you will be disappointed, this fourth installment of the Free Willy series does not star Richter or any of the original cast stars from the first three films, but if you can look past that and are a true “Free Willy” fan you and your family are sure to enjoy this picture.

Besides the story being heartwarming the acting was surprising well; Bindi Irwin did a wonderful job as the lead role and was very believable, Beau Bridges played the role of Kirra’s grandfather nicely and the rest of the cast did a good job too.

I must say if you have young kids they will have good time watching this film, and will probably re-watch many times. The movie had friendship, family, and a good message!
