Synopsis: Ein, a young girl with no memory of her past and only knows that she now works for a criminal underground as efficient assassin, and they call her Phantom. Ein/Phantom is only called in to due special kill job where she must take out an enemy her employers want her to eliminate. However, during one mission she ends up with a young man and instead of her usual kill job Ein/Phantom trainers believe that he maybe useful,l so they keep him alive train him to be an operative like Ein. Once the young man awakes he discovers that his memory is gone, which is the work of his new keepers as Ein explains and the only choice is work for them or die. The two become a team and go on various missions together and begin to realize that this is life they’re forced to live not the one they want to and maybe its time to start living for themselves instead of for their heartless keepers.

The show has a lot of drama and can seem very dark to various people, but there is some romantic feelings between the male and female lead. When watching the anime you will see that behind all the drama and action the real message is that we each need to take control of our lives and we all have the power to do so, and that we must live for us and not others. It has a good plot and the animation is great; the characters are drawn wonderfully. Yet, there are some down faults to the series like how each episode are suspenseful until the end, which is a bit disappointing and the fact that you have watch a few episode before the show gets interesting because it has a very slow start.

Through everything I think there is a group of anime lovers who will enjoy the show, especially fans of animes such as Noir, Canaan, and Gunslinger Girl.
