This was really good I was so happy when Selena won Sparkling Stars Revolution Girl and was even happier with the article on her. She’s such a great role model for kids and I’m glad Sparkling Stars is promoting people kids should look up to instead of just the big names in Hollywood.
- Alyson

My favorite article would have to have been the one about redecorating your room; it was really helpful and gave me some ideas on what I should do to my room. I was also a fan of the “Be Witching” article it was interesting to find out more of the back story behind witches and how they where looked at back then. - Megan

I wasn’t a fan of the cover story or girl this month, what can I say I’m more of a Miley Cyrus and Mandy Jiroux girl, but I shocking like the article on Demi Lovato; I was never that inserted in her before though after reading the article I got to know more about her and found out what great actress and role model she is, but most I like the fact that she was every down to earth and not afraid to be herself. I do hope the October issue is a little more my taste, my be you should put the cast of Harry Potter on the cover or High School Musical, but what ever you do some out with I’m sure it will be great!

01. First wash and blow dry your hair to help it maintain good condition, though before you try this hairstyle keep in mind this hairstyle works best with layered hair, that being said you can still do it know matter what hairstyle you have even though you may not get as good as results as you would with layered hair but over all it will be the same look.

02. Pull your hair back into a mess bun, pin up the hair with bobby pins. It’s alright if leave some of the hair out of the bun Kristen’s hair isn’t perfect, lastly add some hairspray to finish the look off.

The album is a rock album with a few slow beats here and there, and is able to let you bring out your inner rock star. Though there are a few slow songs; Four Walls” and “Goodbye,” but “Breakout” is all about the power of rock and roll, with songs like “7 Things” and “Fly on the Wall.”

The titled song “Breakout” is an upbeat song and with lyrics like these; “It’s the time when, the time when were gonna breakout, let the party start. Were gonna stay out, gonna break some hearts,” your sure to have the song stuck in your head all day long. And that’s not all on the album she takes the classic song “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” and gives it a new sound, Breakout is something new and fresh with a style music that hasn’t been heard in along time.

There are plenty of thing that can scare us in the world and not one of us can say truthful that we are fearless. But sometimes you need to be able to stand up to the things that scary you most and face your fears and Sparkling Stars is here to help you do just that. We’re show you how to get over your fears and let your bravery shine through.

How many times have you said I’m not afraid of anything, knowing perfectly well that’s not true? Everyones afraid of something or someone; from heights to maybe even your boss, and no matter what even if you don’t know what it is that scares <img src="http://www.sparklingstars.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/scaryed_001.jpg" alt="" title="scaryed_001" width="148" height="116" size-full wp-image-674" align="left"/>you yet there is good chance you will find one thing through out your life that makes your skin crawl. The only thing you can do is own up to your fears and try to face them with the help of your love ones and the inner strength you have inside.

Fear is just a state of mind and the only way to get over what scares you the most is to chance the way you look at the thing or person completely. All you have to do is break down the walls that you have put up and realize the meaning behind your fear. Try having fun with your fear like taking swimming class if you’re scared of droning. Not only will you learn a new skill you will have over come your fear in a fun and easy way, who knows you make actually turn out to love the thing you feared most.

A lot of times in life you come to find not only thing but as I said before people who scary us and when this happens you can’t let your mind take this fear, this one moment of insecurity and turn it into something much bigger. You may not realize it at first but facing your fear maybe more about just facing your self. So, all you and anyone else can do in the end is think positive, live with a family, and be up for every Challenges life has in has in store.

We all know the mythical creatures the sleep in coffins, suck blood, and can casual turner into bats, right?
<img src="http://www.sparklingstars.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/vapires_002.jpg" alt="" title="vapires_002" width="148" height="116" size-full wp-image-671" align="right"/>
Yes, I’m talking about vampires, the made up creatures have become the lead in books (Twilight), TV shows and movies (Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Van Helsing), and are even one of the top fictional creatures that scary little kids. Most people know though that vampires aren’t real, or are they? The idea of drinking blood my sound gosh to most people, but is to as far fetched to people like; the Greeks and Christians who believe drinking one another blood is a form of cannibalism and signifies putting so what of the soul of someone else inside yourself to obtain more life.

There are many story and tells of vampires; some say the sight of sunlight turns them to stone, others say dust. Some people believe say they look like zombies and have the ability to fly, others think they look just like you and me, and can move at the speed of light. Although we believe and have heard many thing of what vampire can and can’t do we have no truth to any of are theories. There are many creatures said to be reality some what to vampires, like the leech, a slimy creature taking sticks on to the human body and wont release until all your blood has been sucked. Another vampire relative and probably the most known to this day is the bat like vampires a bat sucks the blood of its victims by making a clean cut to the neck, leaving to little bite marks.

Through out the years vampire myth has grown hugely and it has become hard to tell what is fact and what is fiction, Bram Stoker novel Dracula started the myth of using garlic to fend off vampires and stakes as killing tools. And that not all novelists Anne Rice, put her twists on vampires by making the immortal. So as you can see even though we don’t know the truth behind the nightly creatures’ one thing for sure they’re the reason we don’t want be out at night.

Twilight, is based off Stephenie Meyer hit book series about vampires, love, and two different worlds becoming one. There are four books in the Twilight series; Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and the fourth Breaking Dawn, which is said to be the last book of the series there have been rumors that Meyers may do more with the characters of Twilight in later years.

And why not the books are loved by many people all over the world raging from boys to girls, men to women, and teens to adults, and have become highly successful. The only question left to ask is why? Well, that’s a question not even Stephenie Meyer herself can answer, “I’m not sure what it is that draws readers to be so excited about the characters. I know I love them, I know they’re extremely important to me, but I don’t know why other people feel the same way.”

Twilight movie star, who just so happens to be a big fan of the books Kristen Stewart gives her thoughts on why she and other fans are drawn to the books;<img src="http://www.sparklingstars.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/kristen_003.jpg" alt="" title="kristen_003" width="110" height="150" size-full wp-image-668" align="right"/> “The cool thing about the story is that it’s a seemingly wonderful fantasy let’s fall in love with vampires and live forever — but it’s so much harder than that. Imagine living forever. Living one life is hard enough.”

Kristen was happy to get to step into the shows of Bella in the film version of the book and hopes to represent her role soon; “People really love these books, hopefully we’ll get to shoot all four.” Says Stewart; “It’s a pretty triumphant love story, it’s going to take a while, and it deserves at least a series of three.” I’m sure fans of the books are hoping for the same thing, but in the meantime they can check out the first Twilight movie in theaters November 21, 2008.

I have to say it wasn’t your best issue, but I did like the article on The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.
- Katie

Ok, so I thought having the sisterhood on the cover was a great idea! All the girls have big things going on for them right even though Alexis and Amber aren’t in the spotlight as much as Blake and America. I loved the Sparkling Stars Revolution Girl article, though it sucked that Blake Lively didn’t win, I’m still glad you did the contest. But you left out some stars that should have been nominated like Demi Lovato and Leighton Meester.
- Jamie

The August issue of Sparkling Stars had to be my; lest favorite issue. I don’t know I guess I was excepting more from it; don’t get me wrong I liked the article on anime, I always like those just like articles you do and the newsletter was cool and all, but it just felt dry like something was missing. I just hope to see something great in the September issue, keep up the good!

Baby V is back and is showing she’s all grown up with her album “Identified” which was resealed early July 2008. <img src="http://www.sparklingstars.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/vh_01.jpg" alt="" title="vh_01" width="116" height="148" size-thumbnail wp-image-562" align="right"/>As some might say Vanessa’s dance hip hop sound for the album wasn’t the right way to go and she should stick to her High School Musical sound, Sparkling Stars disagrees. Yes, some songs on the album fell short; “Last Night” and “Hook It Up,” there where far more good songs then bad. Her first single off the album “Sneakernight” was a power dance song you could groove too, those she repeated “basically what where goanna do is dance,” too many times over all the song was good.

But the best out of all were her softer ones; “Don’t Ask Why,” “Don’t Leave,” and the best song off the album as far as Sparkling Stars are concerned “Paper Cut,” this album may have been a miss for Miss Hudgens or not only she can be the judge of that, and if Baby V likes how it turned out we’re sure her fans will too.
