Series: ER
Season: Fifteen
Cast: Noah Wyle, Anthony Edwards, George Clooney, and Julianna Margulies
Genre: Medical I Drama

ER is the medical drama that all other medical show will forever have to live up too. ER had great storylines, characters, and creative ways of bring new characters on and slowly fading out old ones. You can now own on DVD the fifteenth and final season of ER. The 15th season was probably the most emotional of them all, and that is saying something since it is a medical “drama”, but the main reason this season is so touching is because it contains the final twenty-three episodes of the amazing series that is ER.

Season fifteen throws us into the excitement from the get go. In the premiere episode, the doctors at County General must deal with losing one of their own; do to a terrible ambulance explosion. Another loss comes in episode three when longtime Dr. Abby Lockhart say goodbye to County. Then in episode twenty Dr. Neela Rasgotra waves farewell to all her ER co-works as she leaves to take a job at Le Chatelier Medical Center. This season, some great ER doctor’s departures, but on the brightside many former county doctors returned too. In the seventh episode of the new chief has a flashback featuring the late Dr. Greene (played by Anthony Edwards). Then in episode sixteen, ER legend Dr. John Carter returns for the remainder of the finale season, and, one of the biggest surprises of the season comes in episode nineteen when Carol Hathaway (played by Julianna Margulies) and Dr. Doug Ross (played by George Clooney) make a shocking appearance.

The whole season leads up to an emotional finale where former ER doctors Dr. Peter Benton, Dr. Elizabeth Corday, Dr. Susan Lewis, Dr. Kerry Weaver, and, and doctor Greene’s med student daughter Rachel; come together to celebrate the opening of a new medical facility for the underprivileged. Although, it was hard to say goodbye to this amazing show; I must admit that the ending was nothing less than perfect. Every ER fan and medical show addict should pick up ER final season on DVD; so that they can rewatch all of the great, last moments of one amazing show.

Series: Supernatural
Season: Six
Episode: Twenty-One & Twenty-Two
Cast: Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins
Genre: Sci-Fi I Thriller

Finally after twenty episodes it all comes down to a two hour Supernatural event. Unlike most 2-hour specials this wasn’t just one episode that happened to be two hours long, in actuality it was just two episodes airing back to back. A). Because they knew that Supernatural fans couldn’t wait another whole week for the finale. B). Smallville ended the week before and they didn’t have anything else to air at 7 pm. But whatever the reason was I’m glad that it was two hours because one episode a week simply isn’t enough.

Now let’s get on with the review. Since it was two different episodes I’m going to break the review up, starting with my thoughts on the first episode that aired.
<ins datetime="2011-05-22T17:05:01+00:00">
Episode #21 Let It Bleed</ins>
Plot: The episode had to deal with Dean and Sam going to find Lisa and Ben after they have been taken by Crowley. Bobby goes to find out how to open the door to Purgatory before Castiel does.

Best Moment: Sam, like most of the season, wasn’t really apart of the episode but I love the scene when he calls Castiel for help because he thinks that Dean isn’t thinking clearly. He knows that his brother is to emotionally a attached to Lisa and Ben, and will do anything to find them. It was such a touching yet heartbreaking scene because Sam is standing their literally begging for Castiels help. Then when you see that Cas is watching him; as a viewer you hope that he will reveal himself to Sam but you know deep down inside that he won’t. It was sad and I wish Castiel and Sam had more scenes together, and got to know each other more.

Best Line: “I’m officially on your team…You bastards.” I’d have to say that the best line in the episode came from the angel Balthazar after he realizes that the Winchesters are right about Castiel’s insane Purgatory plan. He chooses to switch sides and be a double agent for the brothers, but he still has a dislike for them and that sarcastic charm. I love the whole scene when he goes to Sam and Dean to let them know he is batting on their team. But hands down my favorite part was when he said “I’m officially on your team…You bastards.”

To Sum It All Up: Once Dean and Sam discover the location of Lisa and Ben they go to rescue them, but Dean comes to find out that Lisa has got a demon inside her body. Of course Dean gets the demon out of her but not before it stabs Lisa and tells Dean that this all would never happened if he had just stayed away from Lisa and Ben. They rush Lisa to the hospital where there is little hope that she’ll make it through the night, but Cas shows up and heals Lisa because he still feels the need to help the Winchesters. Before Castiel leaves Dean says “thank you” to him and ask that he do one more thing for him, which is to wipe him from Lisa and Ben’s minds. Sam isn’t too happy about Dean’s decision to invade their minds but after Dean gives him the “mention this again and all hurt you” ultimatum he has no choice but to let it go. Also, when Dean and Sam found Lisa and Ben; I thought that it was pretty lame how the demons took Sam out so easily and locked him in a room, but Dean fought them off with out breaking a sweat. I wasn’t too crazy about Bobby’s storyline in the episode but it was interesting to learn that Dr. Eleanor Visyak, the woman Dean got the dragon sword from in episode twelve, was really a demon that was released from Purgatory and she is the only one who knows how to open the door. I really liked how the episode ended, because it was a nice ending to the whole Lisa and Ben storyline. And I commend Dean on making the choice he made because it was hard but for the best.

<ins datetime="2011-05-22T17:05:01+00:00">Episode #22 The Man Who Knew Too Much</ins>
Plot: In the final episode of supernatural season 6 Dean and Bobby race to stop Castiel and Crowley from opening the door to Purgatory, while Sam is locked with in his mind.

Best Moment: I think that my favorite moment is at the very end when Castiel turns evil. No, I wasn’t gunning for Cas to become “the new god,” actually I was hoping he would go back to being his old likeable clueless angel self. But when he revealed to Bobby, Dean, Crowley, and Raphael that he had already open the door to Purgatory an put the souls inside of him; it made my skin crawl. The whole scene was creepy and you could tell that Cas wasn’t himself because of how he acted and the things he did. It was completely eerie how he killed Raphael without blinking, and the way he told Dean that he was right all along and his plan worked. Misha Collins did an excellent job in that moment and completely freaked me out. He took Castiel from clueless to demented perfectly.

Best Line: “One was like a male model type and the other was an older guy named Bobby.” The best line came from Sam, which was refreshing sense he hasn’t been getting a lot of good lines this season. I love it when the writers take note in the fact that the guys on Supernatural are good looking, which is partly why the show is so popular with the female population. I busted out laughing when Sam was inside his mind and has a flash back of Dean and Bobby, and the only way he could describe them was by saying “One was like a male model type and the other was an older guy named Bobby.”

To Sum It All Up: I liked how the wall in Sam’s head was brought down because it was about time for him to put himself back together again. Yet they really didn’t reveal anything that happened to him when he was in hell, which was kind of a bummer since that is what fans have been waiting to find out since the season opener. And how come after he woke from his comatose like state he so easily got up to go help Dean and Bobby stop Castiel; I thought that he wouldn’t be able to handle all those memories from hell. Isn’t that why they put the wall up in the first place? A big disappointment for me was how the season ended mainly because I felt as if they took my favorite character and turned him inside out. Castiel was a great character and really worked off Dean well, but when he told Dean at the very end of the episode that he must punish all of Raphael’s followers you knew that the old Cas was gone. Of course that statement comes after he has all the souls from Purgatory inside of him and you can tell that they are messing with his mind. But there isn’t any excuse for when he killed one of the best new characters introduce this season Balthazar. That being said; I love how Dean seemed to be just as creeped out by the new Castiel and tries to get him to put all the souls back where they belong. However the most shocking event was when Sam tries to kill Castiel with the angel killing knife and he informs his former friends that it will no longer work on him because he isn’t an angel anymore he is their new god. It made me so mad to hear Castiel say that because it insures fans that he is going to be a villain next season. It would be terrible if he dies evil since he was such a wonderful character. At last, all we can do hope that some how Dean breaks through to Castiel and everything works out for the best, until then I’ll be counting down the days until season seven.

Series: Supernatural
Season: Six
Episode: Twenty
Cast: Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins
Genre: Sci-Fi I Thriller

One of the storylines that hasn’t been focused on much this season, on Supernatural, is the Angel war that the Winchester brothers’ angel friend Castiel is fighting. The war has been mentioned throughout the season but we don’t know exactly how this war got started and how far Cas is going to win it.

Episode Run-Down: Castiel hasn’t exactly been acting like the angel of the lord that pulled Dean out of hell and gave up his life for the Winchesters. And Dean, Sam, and Bobby are coming to realize that their friend, or Superman as Bobby calls him, might have gone to the dark side. But in the episode “The Man Who Would Be King” we finally get to hear Cas’s story and how his good intentions are paving the road to hell.

Best Moments: Castiel and Dean have always been close, but in this episode we discover that Dean doesn’t think of Cas as just the angel he can call to heal him when he gets hurt or save him when he’s in trouble. He thinks of Castiel as family, as a brother. At the end of the episode Dean begs Cas to stop what he is doing; not because they’re friends but because they are brothers. It was a really touching scene and you can tell that Castiel was shocked to know that Dean cared that much for him.

Best Line: “Freedom is a length of rope. God wants you to hang yourself with it.” The best line in the episode came from Castiel, when thinking back on when he first arrived back in heaven after Sam and Dean stopped Lucifer and Michael. In heaven he informed all the angels that they now have free will. However, being angels they had no idea what to do with this freedom and turned to Cas for help. Now Castiel has discovered that with freedom comes great responsibility. He states in the episode that if he had know then what freedom was like he would have told his angel brothers and sisters “Freedom is a length of rope. God wants you to hang yourself with it.”

To Sum It All Up: Over all the episode made a good starting point for the 2 hour finale airing May 20th, and got us to see everything Castiel has gone through since Sam died and Dean went off to live an apple pie life. We learned that Cas was the one who raised Sam from perdition. And in actuality the angel war was started because Castiel thought he was protecting the world from Raphael. But with the help of some manipulation from the Demon Crowley, Cas was led down a path of darkness. From the very beginning of the episode you can see that Castiel knows that he has lost his way, which is why he is telling his story to God and asking for a sign that he is doing the right thing. In the episode we got to see Castiel show his humanity, the fact that he really does care for the Winchesters, and that he believes that he’s doing the right thing. It was a great episode but it leaves us wondering if Cas can comeback from the darkness and into the light.

Horror, suspense, action, and drama all mixed equally into one show. Criminal Minds, the hit show on CBS, is a must-see. The Behavioral Analysis Unit at the Federal Bureau of Investigation consists of a team of highly talented and intelligent agents. SSA Aaron Hotchner, SSA David Rossi, SSA Derek Morgan, SSA Emily Prentiss, SSA Dr. Spencer Reid, Jenifer Jureau, and Penelope Garcia. Together, the team hunts down and examines serial killers, predicting their next move before they have a chance to make it.

This show is bound to get anyone’s attention. It’s not just about fighting the bad guys. Throughout the show, most of the characters grow into different people, some of them lose people, and we meet some new additions to the team. Everyone is growing as the show grows, and that’s what makes it so incredibly compelling. Not only are you sitting on the edge of your seat, waiting for them to catch the bad guy, you’re dying to know what will happen to the characters along the road.

At the beginning of the show, the team was a lot different than they are now. Spencer Reid was an obviously nerdy, awkward kid with a brain that no one could beat, but now he has matured, realizes that he makes mistakes just like everybody else, and he’s starting to dress more like his age and is more active in the field.

SSA Elle Greenaway used to be on the team, but she left and was replaced by SSA Emily Prentiss. Prentiss at first didn’t feel welcome on the team, she felt like she was intruding on a family that she didn’t belong in. Now, that’s her family as well, and she is an amazing agent.

The genius Jason Gideon used to be on the team as well, but after too many cases and too much sadness, he decided to leave, and in came David Rossi. At first, Rossi seemed a little stuck up, since he’s a famous author and everyone on the team was excited to have him, but later on, he starts to feel more comfortable around everyone, and takes his place on the team with pride.

All of the characters have changed in many ways throughout this series. Not only does this series excite and shock people, it warms them in many ways. It doesn’t just show profilers working in the FBI. It shows a family who was trying to live their life in a very dysfunctional world. You can catch all the action for yourself Wednesday nights on CBS.

Series: Secret Life of the American Teenager
Season: Three
Episode: Fifteen
Cast: Shailene Woodley, Daren Kagasoff, and Molly Ringwald
Genre: Drama I Romance

Yes I’ll admitted it, I’m a Secret Life fan and damn well proud of it! That being said we can keep my Monday night ABC Family guilty pleasure to ourselves, right? Anyways tonight was the first new episode of the show since September 2010 and I had high hopes for the episode that sadly weren’t fulfilled.

Episode Run-Down: The episode had two man stories. The first plot was one were Amy asked her now boyfriend; who just so happens to be the father of her baby, to get tested for STDs before she considers having sex with him. The next story was about Ben and Adrian who goes to the doctor to find out the gender of their baby that will be do in a few month; in TV land that means just around season finale time. Their were a few other side plots like Grace and Grant wanting to have sex, but then Grace’s mother brings up the option of getting tested for STDs first and Grant might just agree with her suggestion. Then there is Ashley who has decided she wants to be homeschooled and Amy’s friend Madison wants to date an older guy.

Best Moments: Personally for me one of the best moments of the episode didn’t involve any of the main cast members. Beverley Mitchell; who you all might remember as Lucy Camden on 7th Haven, made a small appearance on the episode as the new guidance counselor, Katelyn O’Malley. She shared a small but funny scene with fellow 7th Haven cast mate Mackenzie Rosman (Ruthie Camden) that had a tiny guest starring role on Secret Life as the character Zoe. In the scene Beverley’s character is walking down the hall and spots Rosman the two stare at each other for a moment and then Rosman walks off. It was such a funny scene and as a avid 7th Haven watcher I absolutely loved it.

Best Line: “Is sex all you guys ever talk about?” My favorite line came from Ricky in the very being of the episode when he sees Amy talking to her friends Madison and Lauren about “SEX.” There isn’t really a particular reason behind why I like this line expect for the fact that it is what most people think after watching the show, well at lest the people I know and have talked too. It seems that all they every do on Secret Life is talk about sex, have sex, or talk about why they shouldn’t have sex. Sometimes you feel like it is a scripted version of MTV’s Teen Mom.

To Sum It All Up: All in all I was disappointed in the episode because I was looking for to it and ABC Family promoted it so much I thought it was going to come back with a bang. However, all it left us with is Ricky scared that he might have an STD, Grant wanting Grace to get tested because he think she might have an STD and Jack might just confirm is theory, Amy wants to someday marry Ricky, and Adrian and Ben find out that they are having a baby…. Girl! Also, I thought the whole thing in the doctor of when Ben was all scared about going in with Adrian to find out the baby’s gender was pretty pointless. He wanted to do everything with Amy when she was pregnant, but doesn’t want to be around his own child, come on. The only interesting part of the episode was when Ricky’s birth mother showed up at his place and thanked him for finding her a place to stay. Hopefully the next episode will be filled with drama and exacting plot lines.

Series: Gossip Girl
Season: Four
Episode: Seventeen
Cast: Leighton Meester, Blake Lively, and Penn Badgely
Genre: Drama I Romance

Omg! Dair fans are probably jumping for joy right now, I know I am, sorry Chair but for the moment it looks like Dan and Blair are a go.

Episode Run-Down: In the episode Dan and Blair come to find that they might be hiding their secret friendship for shocking reason… It might be more than just a friendship. Serena’s boyfriend/former teacher/ the guy her mother wrongful put in prisons, Ben’s mother comes into town and isn’t taken by Serena. Chuck is about to sign his deal on Bass Industries and throws a party to celebrate his victory over Russell Thorpe. But, at last things come to a halt when blackmail comes into play and there is something you just can’t talk your way out of, like jail.

Best Moments: I think every Dair fan is with me on this one, the best moment of the night and all of season 4 up until this point would have to be the last five seconds of the episode when Blair and Dan finally shared a kiss that the writers have been leading up to since episode 11 “The Townie.” Also, when Lily chose to turn herself in was one of her best and only honorable moments this season.

Best Line: “Why am I walking around the city when I live in Brooklyn?” My favorite line in the episode is when Dan goes to se Blair and says he’s been walking around the city with one thought and she replies “Why am I walking around the city when I live in Brooklyn?” It was a funny line that lightened the mood of a very intense scene.

To Sum It All Up: I personal think this was one of the best episodes of the season so far, because two storylines ended. The Ben story end leaving Serena single yet again and the Bass Industries one that left Chuck confessed and wanting Blair. Also, we got to see Lily for the first time owning up to what she did to Ben and realizing it was wrong. Plus, it left us with two new plots; the Dan and Blair relationship and the return of Serena and Eric’s father William van der Woodsen.

Series: Supernatural
Season: Six
Episode: Fifteen
Cast: Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins
Genre: Sci-Fi I Thriller

If the CW series Supernatural were ever to be seen as “jumping the shark,” the Season 6 Episode 15 “The French Mistake” would be the reason why. My first thought after hearing that Dean and Sam would be playing their real life selves (Jensen and Jared) was that it had to be a joke. However, much to my surprise the episode wasn’t all that crazy and it was pretty entertaining to watch the brothers in the real world, our world.

Episode Run-Down: In order to protect the Winchester brothers from one of Raphael’s angelic hitman, Balthazar sends them to an alternate universe where they aren’t hunters, but actors “Jensen Ackles” and “Jared Padalecki” on a TV show called “Supernatural.”

Best Moments: Honestly the best scenes would have to be when Dean and Sam were trying to act, but in my opinion they should stick to hunting and let Jensen and Jared do the acting. Also, when they thought Misha Collins was “Castiel,” was in a word hilarious, and his persona in the episode as a Twitter addict was more than funny.

Best Line: “The good-looking crying man.” My favorite line in the entire episode has to go to the homeless man, yes I said homeless man. When he talks to Dean and Sam about witnessing Misha Collins getting stab to death, but refers to him as the “The good-looking crying man.” And to tell you the truth I can’t say I disagree.

To Sum It All Up: The episode was random and didn’t really do much for this seasons big storyline, but was a nice refreshment from all the doom and gloom we’ve been getting all season long. It was great to see the actors and everyone behind the show poke fun at themselves because most television shows don’t get the chance to do that. I loved how the series mentioned that Dean and Sam, although seen as strong and fearless demon killers sure do talk about their feelings a lot, and, the fact that anything can be on TV these days; like something as stupid sounding as “Octocobra.” However, it was a “Supernatural” episode with a comedy aspect to it that worked, so by some chance of luck the writers actually pulled off the episode with out “jumping the shark” and I can’t wait to see what comes next this season.

Series: ER
Season: Fourteenth
Cast: Maura Tierney, Parminder Nagra, and John Stamos
Genre: Medical | Drama

Warren Brother brings another thrilling ER season to DVD and takes you into the medical and personal world of some of the best TV doctors.

Synopsis: At an ER party, Nurse Chuny Marquez recalls, “I still remember when Mark Green and Doug Ross were running the place.”Who? Ask a newcomer. So much has happened in 14 seasons, so many people have come and gone, but the chaos of saving lives and the dedication of the people who make County General run remain.

In this of ER we see some of the doctor go ruff times, Maura Tierney storyline about Abby falling off the wagon is so sad to watch, knowing how far the character had come, however it shows that Maura Tierney is an excellent actor with the emotion she inputs into every episode. Also, ER marks millstone this season with its 300 episode appropriately titled “300 Patients,” yet the episode wasn’t as thrilling as let’s say the season finale.

Furthermore, this season brought us was the return of old ER member Jeanie Boulet (Gloria Reuben), don’t you just love it when you get to see old faces again? And, staff members at County gets hostage a pair of lovers but what else is new, and Gates and Nurse Sam start a relationship that is actually really cute. One con about this season is that it has more to do with the character then the patience that come into the Emergency Room, nevertheless it still leaves us with some great stories focused on the patience but it probably one of the more doctor centered seasons.

The season finale is so heart stopping that you will want to jump right into the next season, because, without again to much away the finale suggest that one of two character might not make it.

In the clip below we get to see Abby and Luka with there son Joe but the two are a bit distant.
