The Slayers: Evolution-R Review was my favorite, I’m so glad you guys stared doing anime reviews because I love them. I also like the Family Matters review I only saw it a couple of times but after reading the review I had to go out and buy it. And, I liked the articles on laptop stuff it was really interesting even though I have a desktop not a laptop it was still a cool article.

I’ve been reading the magazine since January 2010 and I my favorite articles have always been the just like ones, however this month kind of disappointed me because I’m not a bug fan of Lea Michele. I’ve seen Glee a couple of time and don’t really like it so why would I want tips on how to get her look, but I was glad to see the article on summer make it was great, but my favorite article had to be about Mary Queen of Scots she is my favorite queen in history.

Who ever said M. Night Shyamalan’s newest film “The Last Airbender” was based off the hit Nickelodeon animated series “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” lied!

I was looking forward to seeing this picture as I was a fan of the series and wanted to see it in live action and on the big screen, although at first I was a bit disappointed that I would not be seeing the same animated versions of the characters I’ve watched for three years, nor hear the same voice, such as Mae Whitman as Katara or Dante Basco as Prince Zuko but I was still holding out hope for the film.

However, sadly all hope was lost the first 5 minutes into the film. The writing was very cheese and most of it was voice over narration. And, the characters were completely different than their animated alter egos; I love Jackson Rathbone as Jasper Hale in the Twilight saga, but Sokka he’s not. Sokka was the comic relief and even with trying to be a warrior and protect his sister he still new how to liven up a situation, in the film he was a more of a warrior with no funny bone at all.

Aang’s character was probably one of the biggest changes, what happen to that light hearted kid who was thrown into greatness? From the first episode of the cartoon he took on his responsibilities of being the avatar but ever gave up being a kid as well. The movie made Aang out to be a depressed kid who was ready to fight a war.

In the movie water bender and Sokka’s sister Katara was more dramtic, and some might point she was like that in the show as well, but she was also responsible and girly too. However, not all characters were lost Prince Zuko and Uncle Iroh happened to be similar to their animated versions, but there wasn’t much of a story line for Zuko in the movie like in the series and his scar wasn’t every noticeable.

Another con about the movie was that it flip flopped every to seconds they would be in a different town doing something new, it is as if they were trying to put all 26 episode into a two hour movie with out knowing exactly how to do that, or having a actual plot.

To wrap things up, if you hadn’t seen the series the movie makes no sense. Also, the special effects in the trailer were the only special effects in the movie. And, finally the set was so cheep and sad looking. This film is sure to disappoint fans everywhere.

Dr. Andrew Brown and his family are back for a third year in tiny Everwood, Colorado. Enough time to begin recovering from the death of Andy’s wife; to put down roots, to be at home, and to be at peace. Or maybe just enough time to be in total turmoil.

In this 6 disc set you will find the Brown family once again dealing with the struggles of everyday life. Through out the season Andy Brown makes some choices that affect his whole family. This show is all about the family drama and at times crosses over to soap opera drama, but in the end anything can happen to these characters that could change the entire plot for the season. In this season a romantic love triangle is formed between Andy, his next door neighbor Nina, and newly arrived Jake Hartman.

It never fails that the series pushes the limit and is willing to go places with its storylines other TV series won’t think about going. Besides the daring plots there are tons of great guest appearances in season three as well; like a cameo in the season finale by John Savage or how about Anne Heche multiple episode arc.

X is a mysterious and drama anime, with few nice action scenes through out the series. It is based off the manga X/1999, and is about Kamui who stands alone at the crossroads between salvation and Armageddon. Unfortunately his destiny is at hand and demands that he decide the fate of a world he no longer belongs in. Now, he is torn between rivals and orders he must obey, and when the time comes for Kamui to choose his path; who will he draw swords alongside?

Although, sometimes the anime takes interesting turns all in all it is a pretty interesting series which could lead to it becoming a classic. The show has everything a good anime should; amusing yet serious characters, storylines the enter change to insure no boring episodes, wonderful animation, and on top of that it has rocking soundtrack.

This complete series DVD set comes with 4 disc which holds 24 episodes and the OVA, it also includes Interview with director, Yoshiaki Kawajiri, Textless songs, and more.

Miley Cyrus proves she isn’t Hannah Montana anymore with her newest album released on June 22, 2010. Her first single “Can’t Be Tamed” is very grown up with lyrics like “For those who don’t know me, I can get a bit crazy have to get my way, 24 hours a day ‘cause I’m hot like that. Every guy everywhere just gives me mad attention like I’m under inspection; I always get the 10s ’cause I’m built like that.”

Her song “Liberty Walk,” which is probably one of the most popular off the album has a very techno sound too it, as well as the track “Who Owns My heart.” It seems as if she couldn’t make up her mind on what sound she wanted the tune “Every Rose Has Thorn” to have it goes from soft to classic rock and back to soft again. Another song that doesn’t if in with the record is “Forgiveness and Love” which sounds more like a soft old country tune unlike the rest of the songs.

Permanent December was an interesting track, it sounded like something the artist Kesha’ would sing however it was so computerized it was hard to listen to let alone hear Miley’s natural voice. The song “Robot” was another techno song, and “My Heart Beats for Love” reminds me of an oldies tune, like something from the Cyndi Lauper.

Now, the tracks “Two More Lonely People” and “Scars” are typical Miley songs, rock songs with a soft sound to them. Also, if you liked her tune “When I Look At You” she recorded for the feature film The Last Song, then you will love the songs “Stay” and “Take Me Along;” both have a nice soothing piano sound.

Leather Skirts – One of the hottest in fall trends are short and long leather skirts. You can catch many celebrities such as former reality television star, author, and fashion designer Lauren Conrad, as well as, actress Gwyneth Paltrow. Also, they are being featured on runaways as part of famous fashion designers fall collections.

Footless Tights – They come any different colors and length, and can be worn with mini skirts or dresses. Unlike footed tights, footless tights are more casual and can be used to add a touch of fun to a formal or business outfit.

Off-Shoulder Sweaters – Be a little more sexy an off-shoulder sweater; not only do they show of you neck but they show bit of skin with out being to reveling. Lots of online shops and clothing stores have add these sweaters to their collection and believe they are going to be a big seller for fall season.

Ankle Boots – Last year keen high boots were the thing to get and now it is all about ankle boots. The Miley Cyrus & Max Azria line (sold exclusively at Wal-Mart stores) is even getting in on the trend with their stylish “Women’s Buckle Ankle Boots.”

Now that you’ve got to see what some of the trends in fashion are going to be for fall 2010 maybe shopping for back to school clothes won’t be so hard after all.

In the Thirteenth season of ER we say goodbye to through Africa episodes and hello to well written and dram packed season. ER open this season with a punch and takes us right to where last seasons exciting cliffhanger left off; Abby has collapse and bleeding in one of the trauma rooms and Sam has been kidnapped by her con ex-husband. And, that was just the first episode, the rest off the season fallow through with amazing episode that will leave you wanting more.

Also, we get a chance to see some of the characters shine and grow like Doctor Morris who truly starts to develop and mature. The story lines are wonderful through out the season and the actor due a great job portraying their characters and putting them in the scene. And, although it takes a few episodes to get use to the new cast addition of Tony Gates he brings something to the show that was missing.

ER really step it up with this season, some may say that it was because they were having to compete with TV doctor dramas such as Grey’s Anatomy, other believe ER is just as good since it first aired, but one thing is for sure no other TV doctor series and compare to the drama, sadness, romance, heartache and lighter moments that go on at County General Hospital.
